At Parentapps there’s nothing we like more than seeing the schools we provide services for doing well. We were delighted to hear that one of our customers, Bridgewater High in Appleton, has recently won a competition organised by SSYP (Safer Schools and Young People Partnership) working with Collaborate Digital.
Schools across Cheshire were invited to create a short radio advert covering safety issues. The schools who created the top 13 adverts, chosen by a panel of judges, were invited to Safety Central in Lymm to re-record their advert to a professional standard. These recordings were then posted on YouTube and the school who racked up the most views by the closing deadline were declared winners of the online vote.

After much promotion on social media Bridgewater High were declared winners. This was supported by the school’s Parentapps app which enabled users to click through to the YouTube clip via repeated push notifications. Congrats to Bridgewater High!
This is a great example of how schools are using our apps in new and creative ways. Let us know if your school has found a new way to use the app that you would like to share!
